Bucky Badger & the UW Marching Band Come to Chicago!

It's almost football season again and we're gearing up for an exciting fun filled event with Bucky Badger & the UW Marching Band! From 2pm - 5pm on Sunday August 12th, on the corner of Racine & Nelson there will be a special all ages block party featuring the University of Wisconsin Marching Band and one of the most famous mascots of all time, Bucky Badger! The University of Wisconsin Marching Band's Fifth Quarter is one of its most recognizable traditions! They will play an arrangement of Fifth Quarter Favorites such as "On Wisconsin," "You've Said It All," "Space Badgers," "Dance Little Bird," (The Chicken Dance), "Beer Barrel Polka," "Tequila," "Hey Baby," "Swingtown," & "The Time Warp," and much much more! There has been a lot of talk about the Big Ten in the news. There is a lighter side to the conference than tragedy at Penn State. We want people to see that! We are coming back to football season and we want people to remember the best parts of the sports including friends and family! And beyond that, it’s great music performed by one of the premiere brass bands in the country! Did you know that there are more Wisconsin Alumni in Chicago than anywhere else outside of Wisconsin? Of course, fans of all teams are invited to check out our event! We want you to come out sing along with the band, take your picture with THE Bucky Badger and have fun, dance the Time Warp with a full marching band!
